(Malta, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Stanislav Silin, Altenar CEO, was interviewed by SoloAzar within recent SIGMA event. "This year has seen us obtain MGA B2B license in Malta, and a UKGC provider license. We've obtained several software approvals," said Silin, who made an evaluation of the participation of the show and about the performance of the firm in 2019.

Altenar exhibited its sportsbook software and services at SIGMA

"Altenar is a provider of sportsbook software and services to licensed gaming operators. We present ourselves as a company that is increasingly gaining reputation of a reliable technology partner that our customers can trust. Not only because of the stability in the service, flexibility in our approach or B2B licenses with software regulatory approvals, but also because we did not emerge from a B2C business, and therefore will never pose a threat of competing with our own clients," Silin said.

He gave his vision on SIGMA show: "It's been the biggest exhibition to date in Malta within our industry, and it has been a very busy show for Altenar as well. We've had engaging conversations with both our existing customers and some very promising new leads. In any case, I feel the participation at SiGMA has been excellent this year".

"For a B2B provider, exhibitions are one of the main channels to reach our potential customers, so this show is indeed quite important to us," he added.
Then, Silin made an evaluation of the current year for the firm: "Without revealing the numbers, I can say that we've done quite well, and reached what we had planned and even hoped for in 2019. This year has seen us obtain MGA B2B license in Malta, and a UKGC provider license. We've obtained several software approvals, amongst which there is Italy and Sweden, where we have successfully launched 4 regulated customers, despite both territories being quite challenging markets for sports betting. Our team worked very hard, and everyone feels pleased with the results."

Regarding Altenar goals for 2020, he anticipated: "We will, of course, continue to be a trusted provider of choice for sports betting operators, that not only delivers a flexible, stable and compliant software, but also does not compete in the B2C space with operators it offers services to. Additionally, we have a number of interesting internal projects that are focused on helping our existing customers grow. This strategy has, in the past, worked brilliantly with Wplay.co, and we hope to invest some more effort in that direction, as after all, it's a lot more rewarding to help existing customers grow, rather than pursue contractual minimums and cycle new leads."

Finally he talked about the actions of the company towards the evolution of the players: "We sincerely believe in the entertainment aspect of our industry, even though it may sometimes be seen under a different light. To embrace this concept, all our product development efforts are aimed at building the best possible user experience. This means a major product focus on live, but also at the same time, continuous work with the regulators and software test houses, so as to ensure we comply with a multitude of remote gaming regulations, which are, ultimately, aimed at protecting the player. So we are there to build a safe, exciting and trusted environment for the players to enjoy, that our operators will definitely appreciate."
